Khador winter guard part: II

All most done the winter guard. I know it does not look that way but after a few more hours work these fellows will be ready to hit the tabletop.

Tau O'shova conversion

I never got around to finishing off this conversion But a lot of things went well and I think that he looks a lot better then standard suits. I do wish I had finished making a blade for him there were 2 different ones on the past but I was never happy with them so they never got glued on.

Ten Ork boys finished

I went to finish off the first squad I did before to cap them out with the maximum of 30 total guys. not really exciting stuff as they look like the last batch. But take a look at the last picture and tell me that doesn't look like a proper horde of boys!   

Mass painting Orks!

All the bases have sand on them and i just primed everything black then all the Boys got sprayed leafy green. Sadly this is the last time they will all have anything done to them all as one batch seance i learned from the last batch that 19+ at a time is just a bit to much for me. So i will be on to painting five in a go then perhaps ten if that goes well.

wish me luck after this group is finished its all easy stuff a little at a time ork wise! 

Tau heavy Weapon

This was a heavy weapon conversion based off of and idea i got from the old forum  Kovash_Tauva. I thought about adding in some human auxiliary's in the form of some imperial guardsmen to the army at one point and using him as a heavy bolter or something for them but it never happened. The shield bit was supposed to be an anti grav device to support the weapon.

Building Ork's in mass

Well I have my painting bench filled for the next few months easily. The last 2 days gave me the chance to build up all off the orks I have had stashed for the last few years. I built them up as a squad of 30 shoota buys with 3 big shootas and a nob with power claw and boss poll also a unit of 30 slugga boys with 3 rockets and nob with a power claw and boss poll. Plus 10 slugga  boys to add the the original 20 I have painted.

to top it off there are 6 more deffcoptas and 15 nobs i believe 3 have big choppas and 2 have power claws  the other 10 are choppa/slugga guys.

now on to baseing and primeing! 

Tau Shas'o

This fine fellow was my shas'o with cyclonic ion blaster and a plasma gun. 

adeptus custodes landraider progress

I finally made some progress on my take on Dave Tailors adeptus custodes landraider from white dwarf 300. One day I may even finish it....

this is the original I am sure some of you will know of it all ready tho.

 

Imperial Fists Terminator

Finished my first dark vengeance mini today. I Just realized that the back of the leg armor never got washed... so that needs to get fixed but over all I am happy with it. The quality on these push fit models just keeps going up the ones from Space hulk had some odd places on them where they would have been hard to pop out of the molds but it left some weird jutting pieces on them that you had to carve off to make them look correct. These have very little of that problem so clean up was fast and easy.  

Tau Stealth suits

The only thing in this army that i loved as much as gun drones was my unit of stealth suits. most people had a hard time targeting them and even if they did there 3+ armor was nice and hard. Also a unit of 6 with burst canons (the only way to run them when i did) had 18 str 5 shots before you added in some gun drones for good luck (and more str 5 shots).

Aduptus Custodies Constantin Valdor

I needed some one to lead my "gray knights" This guy fit the bill. I am not sure where I am going with this army at this point but it seems like they may get some life as allies to my imperial fists. Thank you very much 6th edition.

Tau medical drone

 

This is a Tau medical drone I made up at one point when some one came up with the idea on Kovash_Tauva witch was a Tau forum back when i used to play them it seems to have disbanded some time ago . I never really did any thing with this model but it was a fun concept.

Tau crisis battle suit

This is a true infantry killer with his air bursting fragmentation launcher and burst cannon. I would normally run him around alone seance most of my other crisis suits where geared up to shoot hard armored infantry or light tanks with plasma and missile launchers. 

Imperial fist terminator sargent

Finished up one more today I am not thrilled with the cloak the white and red need something to separate them a bit I think perhaps black edges or something like that.

Tau Broadsides

I never did get around to painting these. But I still like the spots I mounted the missile pods and I vastly prefer the arm mounted rail guns to the normal shoulder mounts.

Imperial fists terminators

Certain models I have sat on for quite a long time hoping that I will get better at painting so that I could do them justice.
Then I found that I never seem to feel like that time comes about so It's time to knock them all out one by one. Theses two are from "space hulk" there a quite a few more that I have primed and plan to knock out soon.  So keep an eye open I should have some interesting Things painted up shortly.
